Flour Bluff ISD Bonds Passed
$193 million bond upgrade.
Flour Bluff ISD leaders asked and the community responded by voting to approve a $193 million bond package that will bring major renovations, upgrades and new learning spaces across the district.
Superintendent Chris Steinbruck said the average school building in Flour Bluff ISD is more than 55 years old. Bond 2025 will renovate and improve our aging campuses and also enhance safety measures. These bonds will also add new educational assets.
Flour Bluff ISD has only passed three bond elections in its 130-year history. Steinbruck said passing these bonds would bring much-needed additions and renovations to every campus. More than 100 community members from Flour Bluff, Padre Island and Naval Air Station Corpus Christi helped the district develop the projects included in the bond package.

Proposition C would renovate and upgrade the district’s 71-year-old Hornet Stadium.
Proposition B focuses on academic, career, and technical education (CTE) spaces.
